Amnesty ceremony in Jianxian County

Amnesty ceremony, an endemic religious blessing ceremony for Jiaxian county with a very long history is precious folk cultural heritage. The scale of the festival event held in Tanjiaping is the largest in Shaanxi, which falls on Jan 9 of Chinese lunar calendar.

Where is the event?

Every year in Tanjiaping village and Nanhedi village, the event is held on Jan 9 of Chinese lunar calendar in Jiaxian county at the south side of Baiyun Mountain.
