It's been five years since the Belt and Road Initiative was unveiled, and the joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative now serves as China's plan to promote common development and prosperity. This notion has taken root in the minds of people from all around the world.
Today, we'd like to recommend a song called "I'd Like to Build the World a Road."
"I'd Like to Build the World a Road" is an English-language song adapted from a popular song in the 1970s – "I'd Like to Teach the World to Sing."
It captures the happiness and friendship of the young women and men who participated in the International Youth Forum on Creativity and Heritage along the Silk Road.
The young singers are from 65 countries along the Belt and Road. It took two years to produce the MV.
"We felt very happy and united after finishing the song with local staff. An Indonesian colleague of mine recorded the moment on social media along with the lyrics. Despite cultural differences, everyone was able to become friends with each other," said Liu Yang, one of the Chinese youth in the MV.
