QINGDAO, June 10 (Xinhua) -- China will work with other Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member states to support Kyrgyzstan in its SCO presidency, and create an even brighter future for the organization, Chinese President Xi Jinping said Sunday.
"Thanks to the support and assistance of all the other SCO member states over the past year, China has completed its SCO presidency and hosted this summit," Xi said at the 18th Meeting of the Council of Heads of Member States of the SCO held in Qingdao, a coastal city in east China's Shandong Province, extending his sincere thanks to other SCO member states.
China will work with other SCO member states to ensure the full implementation of the consensus reached at this summit in an active, practical, friendly and cooperative manner, Xi added.
