The Economic ＆ Information Commission of Hubei Province has recently released the list of 99 provincial key growth-type industry clusters in 2016. 10 characteristic industry clusters in Xiangyang made the list.

The ten industry clusters are: Xiangyang Automobile and Automotive Parts Industry Cluster, Xiangyang Renewable Industry Cluster, Xiangyang Motor Energy-saving Control Industry Cluster, Xiangyang Aerospace Industry Cluster, Fancheng Textile Industry Cluster, Laohekou Food Processing Industry Cluster, Xiangyang (Xiangzhou, Nanzhang) Agricultural Products Processing Industry Cluster, Zaoyang Automotive Friction & Sealing Materials Industry Cluster, Gucheng Automotive Parts Industry Cluster and Yicheng Food Processing Industry Cluster.
