Wudian Town, Zaoyang, Xiangyang City, is the birthplace of Liu Xiu, Emperor Guangwu of Han. On April 9, 2016, a large-scale cultural event involving drama, dance, vaudeville, lion dance, and dragon dance shows was staged in the town, and attracted 100,000 tourists who came for a sightseeing tour or to pay homage to their ancestors or pray for peace and prosperity.
